Decision making process and activity of the Lithuanian National Union of Students is divided and coordinated within:

Conference (General Assembley) is the higher decision making body, gathering at least once a year. Conference consists of representatives, delegated by full members, responsible for the decision making on the matter of Statute and Regulations change and approval. Conference is responsible for evaluation of National Union of Students’ activity, elects President for two years term, approves new full members and elects members of the Control Committee.
The second major decision making body is Council, which acts on behalf of the Conference between the latter meetings and is responsible for the formation of the Lithuanian National Union of Students activity direction. It consists of President and one representative of every full member.
Board of the National Union of Students is leading organisation between the Council meetings and consists of six members: President and five representatives from Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda, elected and appointed by the Council.
Members of the Board are elected by full members. Every full member belongs to the Regional meeting regarding the location of the Students’ Union registration address. Vilnius and Kaunas regions are electing 2 representatives each, Klaipėda elects one. Vilnius region consists of Vilnius and Utena counties, Kaunas region – Panevėžys, Kaunas, Marijampolė and Alytus counties, Klaipėda – Šiauliai, Telšiai, Klaipėda and Tauragė counties resp.
Presidency is an executive structure, responsible for the implementation of goals and activities, as set by the Conference and the Council. Presidency consists and President and Vice Presidents.
The most important activity of the President is representation of the National Union of Students. President is directly coordinating the activity of the Presidency, financial and economical activity of the National Union of Students, responsible for Plan of Work implementation. According to the Stature, President is elected for two years term, whereas only two terms are possible.
Control Committee (Committee for Internal Audit) is responsible for ensuring the legitimacy and efficiency of the use of material resources.
